IPL-2024 में मंगलवार रात लखनऊ सुपर जायंट्स ने चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स को 6 विकेट से हराया। चेन्नई के एमए चिदंबरम स्टेडियम में मंगलवार को लखनऊ ने टॉस जीतकर गेंदबाजी चुनी। चेन्नई ने 20 ओवर में 4 विकेट पर 210 रन बनाए। लखनऊ ने चेपॉक स्टेडियम में IPL का सबसे बड़ा रनचेज किया और जीत का टारगेट 19.3 ओवर में 4 विकेट पर हासिल कर लिया।
मार्कस स्टोयनिस प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच रहे। उन्होंने 63 बॉल पर नाबाद 124 रन की पारी खेली। इसी के साथ IPL के किसी चेज में वे सबसे ज्यादा रन बनाने वाले खिलाड़ी बन गए हैं।
CSK से ऋतुराज गायकवाड 60 बॉल पर नाबाद 108 रन की पारी खेली। वे CSK के लिए दो शतक लगाने वाले तीसरे खिलाड़ी बने। LSG ने IPL में CSK के खिलाफ दूसरा सबसे बड़ा रन चेज किया है। टीम ने 211 रन का टारगेट हासिल किया। इससे पहले भी टीम ने मुंबई के मैदान पर साल 2022 में CSK के खिलाफ 211 रन चेज किए। CSK के खिलाफ सबसे बड़ा टारगेट MI ने चेज किया है। MI ने साल 2021 में 219 रन का टारगेट दिल्ली के मैदान पर चेज किया था। इस मुकाबले में कीरोन पोलार्ड ने 34 बॉल में नाबाद 84 रन की पारी खेली थी।
IPL रन चेज में सबसे बड़ा इंडिविजुअल स्कोर मार्कस स्टोयनिस ने बनाया। उन्होंने 124 रन की पारी खेली। इसी के साथ स्टॉयनिस ने 13 साल पुराना पंजाब किंग्स के पॉल वॉलथेटी के रिकॉर्ड तोड़ा। पॉल ने साल 2011 में मोहाली के मैदान पर CSK के खिलाफ नाबाद 120 रन की पारी खेलते हुए 189 रन चेज किए और 6 विकेट से पंजाब को मुकाबला जिताया था।
